Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. – Ps 34:15
When you’re righteous, God sees you. When you’re righteous, He hears you! So the only question that matters this morning is, are you righteous?
When you believe in Jesus, you are:
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. – 2 Cor 5:21
Do you believe in Jesus? If you do, the eyes of God are on you! He sees you in the midst of your struggle, and is ready to respond! Do you believe in Jesus? If you do, God’s ears are open to your cry. You get to have perfect confidence that whenever you pray, God hears your cry; and whenever He hears, He responds!
You are righteous. God sees you! He hears you! He knows you. And that means you have nothing to fear, in Jesus’ name!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for making me righteous in Jesus Christ. I know You see me. I know You know me! Thank You for hearing my prayers, in Jesus’ name!
