Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
A Psalm of David. Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. – Ps 37:1-2

Don’t worry about evildoers. God will make sure they are “cut down.” Vengeance is His, and He will repay (Rom 12:19)! If God is going to take care of the people who have not-so-nice things to say about you, do you know what that means? You don’t have to.

Make a decision not to worry about the people in your life who are out to get you. God will take care of them; and that means you don’t have to. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He has given you great work to do! And even so much as responding to people who don’t believe in you is nothing more than a waste of time.

So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?” – Neh 6:3

Prayer:

Father, thank You that I don’t have to waste time even thinking about people who are out to get me. I am going to fill my mind with thoughts of You! I say goodbye to every other thought, in Jesus’ name.
