Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. – Eccl 4:9-10

Do you have good friends who will lift you up when you fall? The time to make Christian friends is now: before you are going through a difficult time. Make friends when it’s peaceful, so you will have helping hands to lift you up when you need it most!

Too many Christians try to do life alone. Online church is a good supplement. YouTube can give you an inspiring word! But only genuine community can help you up when you fall.

Prayer:

Father, I pray You would surround me with strong Christian community. Give me good friends who feel like family! I may not need them now, but I know a day is coming when I will!
