So I commended enjoyment, because a man has nothing better under the sun than to eat, drink, and be merry; for this will remain with him in his labor all the days of his life which God gives him under the sun. – Eccl 8:15
Have fun! There is “nothing better…than to eat, drink, and be merry.” If you aren’t joyful, life isn’t worth living! What’s the point of all your labor and toil if you’re not even happy? Joy is the reward for all your hard work!
God’s blessings make one rich…and He adds no sorrow to it (Prov 10:22). If you don’t have joy, are you really blessed? Don’t take life too seriously. Stop and smell the roses. Laugh! Smile! The joy of the Lord is your strength.
Prayer:
Father, help me to enjoy life! I speak to my day, and tell it to be full of abundant joy and supernatural enjoyment. Thank You that I get to enjoy the fruit of my labors every day of my life, in Jesus’ name!
