For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense, but the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it. – Eccl 7:12
Wisdom gives life! Do you need healing in your body? Seek the wisdom of God in Scripture! Speak God’s wisdom over your body, and watch your body respond!
Wisdom is knowing God: through His word, through a relationship with Jesus Christ, and through the leading of His Holy Spirit. Wisdom gives life! When we learn and appropriate everything God’s word has to say about healing in our bodies, we will be delivered from sickness and disease.
Jesus healed all sicknesses and diseases (Matt 4:23, 9:25). The same Holy Spirit who empowered Jesus for His earthly ministry lives in us (Rom 8:11), and God is the same now as He was then (Heb 13:8). So, if God’s will has not changed, and the Holy Spirit is still in us to heal, then why shouldn’t we expect to see the same miracles as Jesus Christ Himself (Jn 14:12)?
Wisdom – knowing God’s heart through His word – brings healing.
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. – Ps 107:19-20
Prayer:
Father, help me to pursue wisdom! You know all things; I know that I don’t know everything. Teach me what I need to know to trust You with my whole heart.
