We are witnesses to an amazing declaration of love between King Solomon and his lover. But did you know that God feels exactly the same about you? As you read everything the king says about his bride, remember that God is confessing His love to you through these verses. Here’s what God is saying this morning to YOU:
You are a diamond in the rough! (Song 2:2)
You are beautiful! (Song 4:1)
You are lovely! (Song 4:3)
There is no spot (sin or blemish) in you! (Song 4:7)
You have ravished God’s heart with one look of your eyes! (Song 4:9)
He values your love! (Song 4:10)
What did you do to make God fall so in love with you? Who are you to simply look at the God of the universe and amaze Him? You are hidden in Jesus Christ. When God looks at you He sees His Only Son!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for loving me so much! I ravish Your heart with one look. But I can only do that because of Your Son Jesus Christ. Help me to put my trust completely in Him!
