Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“If you will not believe, surely you shall not be established.” – Is 7:9
The armies of Syria and Ephraim were approaching Jerusalem, and King Ahaz had a decision to make. If he believed the word of God, he would be saved; but if he refused to believe Isaiah’s prophecy, he would not be established. All the odds were stacked against him, but the choice was his: would he believe?
God’s will cannot fully come to pass in your life unless you believe. God wants to save, restore, and promote you! Choose to believe!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for second chances. Thank You that Your heart is always for me. Help me to believe unconditionally in Your promises, in Jesus’ name!
