Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“Return, O backsliding children,” says the Lord; “for I am married to you. I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.” – Jer 3:14
No matter how far gone you think you are, God’s invitation to return to Him is always open. You are married to Him! He is married to you. He is never walking away. He will pluck you out of whatever situation you are in – one from a city, and two from a family – and bring you back into His kingdom. Come home!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for infinite forgiveness. I am far from perfect; but I am married to You! Thank You for rescuing me from my sin.
