Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

And I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall; and they will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you; for I am with you to save you and deliver you,” says the Lord. – Jer 15:20

Jeremiah had a tough assignment! God called him to preach repentance to the people of Israel: to challenge them, and reveal that they were not really living for God. When the people heard Jeremiah, they were angry. Some would try to kill him, and others would try to drive him out of the land; but God told Jeremiah never to fear. God would make Jeremiah like a “fortified bronze wall:” impossible to move, and immune to danger and destruction.

When you go where God has called you to go, and do what He has called you to do, He will make you like a fortified bronze wall. When you say what He has called you to say, you will be strong! No one will be able to move you, and nothing will be capable of pulling you down. Trust Him; for when you are with Him, you will have nothing to fear.

Prayer:

Father, give me confidence to boldly say what You have given me to say, and to do what You have called me to do. I will not fear. You are with me, and You will deliver me, in Jesus’ name!
