For our God is a consuming fire. – Heb 12:29
Our God is not a hobby. He is not a part-time interest to satisfy your need for purpose. He is certainly not a means to an end: someone you can use to get what you want!
Our God is an all-consuming fire! He is all-encompassing, and completely overwhelming! You were created to be consumed by Him. You were created to thrive in Him! Apart from Him, you will never be satisfied; but in Him, you will be saturated with love and grace.
Are you ready to be fully consumed: obsessed with a desire to know God more today than ever before?
Prayer:
Father, consume me! I invite You to rush into my life like never before. Burn up anything that is not of You. Overwhelm me with Your love, in Jesus’ name!
