Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. – Ezek 37:10
This is how God invites us to share the Gospel! Every day, you pass by hundreds of people who haven’t heard about Jesus. Don’t just walk by; prophesy! Prophesy to their dry bones (v 4), that they may be full of life. Prophesy to the breath (v 9); that the breath of life might come into the walking dead who don’t know Jesus, so they can be filled with the Spirit of the living God!
You don’t need compelling arguments to convince people to believe in Jesus; you simply need to prophesy, and watch them come to life! Those who once were the most dead, will become an “exceedingly great army” to tell the world about Jesus Christ!
And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. – 1 Cor 2:4-5
Prayer:
Father, give me the strength to prophesy over every person I meet! I know a word of prayer can do a world of good. I will speak life over everyone who crosses my path, in Jesus’ name!
