Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. – 1 Jn 2:20
Jesus died for you, and gave you His Holy Spirit. Because His Holy Spirit lives in you, you know all things. You have the mind and Spirit of Christ (2 Cor 2:16). The same way Jesus asked the Father what He needed to know to accomplish His purpose on earth, you can ask God what you need to know!
When we ask, God is faithful to answer. Don’t get left out of the loop. Ask God to show you His desire for your life.
Prayer:
Father, show me everything I need to know. You have called me to great things, and I want to answer that call. I ask that You would reveal to me everything I need to know to do exactly that!
