Commentary from Pastor Mike White:
“…and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them” (Matt 4:24). Jesus is our Healer. Whether the issue in question is demonic possession, fits of epilepsy, paralysis, or any other manner of sickness or disease, the answer is Jesus. Note that the sick didn’t always come on their own: in this instance, they were brought to Jesus. The message to us is that Jesus will make Himself real to all of our friends and family members when we bring them to Him! When we make the introduction, He will do the healing.
Take a step out in faith. Pray for the people in your life who are sick, and in need of an appointment with the Divine Physician. Jesus promises us that when we bring the sick to Him, He will heal them!
Prayer:
Father, give me supernatural confidence to pray for the sick in the name of Jesus! I know that divine healing has nothing to do with me, and everything to do with You. You are Jehovah Rapha: the God Who Heals!
