Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“Now if a sojourner or stranger close to you becomes rich, and one of your brethren who dwells by him becomes poor, and sells himself to the stranger or sojourner close to you, or to a member of the stranger’s family, after he is sold he may be redeemed again.” – Lev 25:47-48a
Have you “sold” your soul? Have you lost hold of the life God wants for you, and accepted a counterfeit from the enemy instead? Have you lost your grip on righteousness and fallen into sin?
Even that which has been “sold” may be “redeemed again!” There is no such thing as being too far gone for God. The blood of Jesus is enough to get you out of any mess. The Cross of Jesus is enough to lift you out of any pit!
When Jesus is your brother; redemption is always possible.
Prayer:
Father, give me hope today! I pray Your love would wash over every situation that seems impossible. I know nothing is impossible for You, in Jesus’ name!
