Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

“And the tabernacle of meeting shall move out with the camp of the Levites in the middle of the camps; as they camp, so they shall move out, everyone in his place, by their standards.” – Num 2:17

The armies marched out around God’s presence. They were organized to protect their most prized possession: the ark of the Covenant, which housed God’s presence. As the armies of Israel moved out with God’s presence at the center, they were guaranteed safety and victory!

Our lives should be organized the same way! Are you doing whatever is required to protect His presence? Are you camping around the presence of God and protecting your time alone with Him like your life depends on it? Keep God at the center of everything you do, and He will lead you to victory!

Prayer:

Father, help me to keep You at the center of my life. Whether I’m resting or moving, I need You at the center! Be the center of my actions, and my thoughts, in Jesus’ name.
