Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
…but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord— because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice, they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it. – Num. 14:21-23

God was trying to bless His people. He brought them to the edge of the Promised Land – a land “flowing with milk and honey” – and asked them to spy out the land to see just how good it really was! So they did. “They brought back word to [Israel] and to all the congregation and showed them the fruit of the land” (Num. 13:26). The land was perfect! But Israel fixated on the problem. There were enemies in the land. So instead of trusting that God would drive them out, Israel retreated altogether.

God has an amazing destiny for you. He will bring you to your “promised land:” a place in Him in which all your deepest desires and dreams are fulfilled. But the enemy’s job is to scare you out of ever stepping in. Don’t let Him. Listen to God, not your insecurities and fears! Because those who reject Him won’t see the promise. Those who fail to heed His voice will not see His land!

Are you ready to trust God like never before? Are you ready to say no to the doubts, insecurities, and fears that have been plaguing you for years, and simply trust that God will do what He has promised to do? God is faithful. He will do it! The only question is: will you see it?

Prayer:

Father, I am going to see it. I will see Your promises unfold in my life! I know You have an amazing destiny for me, and I am so grateful. Help me to trust in You fully and completely that everything You have promised will come to pass! I am taking possession of my promised land, in Jesus’ name.
