Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me? – Ps. 56:3-4

David was captured. His enemies had finally gotten a hold of him. But David wasn’t worried. Why? He had the antidote to fear. He trusted in God.

God is on your side. What can man do to you? If you suffer from crippling, debilitating fear, remember this: trust in God is the remedy for all fear. There is no type of fear that trust cannot fix. So next time you’re tempted to be afraid, remember this: if God is for you, who can be against you?

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. – Matt. 10:28

Prayer:

Father, I will fear no man! Help me to never be afraid. Instead, help me to trust in You like never before! I will put my trust in You, and You will overcome all my enemies, in Jesus’ name.
