Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.” – Deut 28:8
Are you in the land He has given you? If you try to find blessing outside of the calling God has put on your life, the blessing will never materialize like you hope; but if you simply step out and do what He’s asked you to do, He will bless, “…all to which you set your hand.” If you’re outside the land He’s given you, you won’t be abundantly blessed; but if you go where He’s called you, the blessings of the Lord will chase you down!
What has God called you to do? Do it! Whom has He called you to be? Be him (her)! Where has He called you to labor? Go there! When you’re in the right place, you will receive the blessings of the Lord.
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. – Prov 10:22
Prayer:
Father, show me where You want me to be. Tell me what You want me to do! Call me where You want me to labor. Make me faithful to do everything You want me to do, in Jesus’ name!
