Then He also said to the multitudes, “Whenever you see a cloud rising out of the west, immediately you say, ‘A shower is coming’; and so it is. And when you see the south wind blow, you say, ‘There will be hot weather’; and there is. Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky and of the earth, but how is it you do not discern this time? – Lk 12:54-56
Why do we ferociously pursue science, only to leave theology unexplored? Why do we race to learn the ways of the world, without seeking to know the God who made the world this way?
Science can answer questions of function; but only faith can answer questions of design. Science can tackle the how, what, when and where; but only faith can answer the who and the why. Isn’t it time you took a moment to examine the why?
Prayer:
Father, give me wisdom! Help me to take the time to stop and examine why. I know You put me here for a reason, and I want You to tell me why, in Jesus’ name!
