Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished building the house of the Lord and the king’s house, and all Solomon’s desire which he wanted to do, that the Lord appeared to Solomon the second time, as He had appeared to him at Gibeon. – 1 Kings 9:1-2
God encounters are not one and done! They should never be few and far between. Solomon encountered God again and again; and so should you. We were built to encounter God: not just once in a while, but every day of our lives.
God always wants to encounter you more. Will you press in and encounter Him?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for chasing me down! Thank You for always desiring an encounter with me. Help me to desire You, more than ever, in Jesus’ name.
