Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. – Rev 2:17

It’s fun to receive praise; but it can be hard to take correction. Jesus had correction for every church. No church was immune. There were things He loved about them; but there were also things He wanted to change.

We always have room for improvement. To deny room for improvement is to fall victim to pride. Don’t wish you were better; receive the constructive criticism the Holy Spirit has for you, and be conformed into God’s best version of you!

Prayer:

Father, I know I have room to grow! Speak to me about the things You want me to change. I am ready, willing, and able to grow, in Jesus’ name.
