Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“…and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.” – Jn 18:26
Jesus took what His Father told Him, and gave the message to God’s people. This is what we are called to do as His disciples!
Challenge yourself today. Pick one person you have never met before, and ask God for a prophetic word for them. Remember that prophecy exhorts and edifies. It does not point out the dirt in people’s lives; it reveals the gold beneath the dirt.
Once He gives you a word (He will!), start a conversation. Deliver the word He has given you to deliver, and pray for that person to be transformed!
Prayer:
Father, help me to speak to the world those things which I hear from You. Your Holy Spirit lives in me; and that means I am prophetic. Speak to me, and fill me with faith to deliver the message!
