Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

Then Jacob said, “O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, the Lord who said to me, ‘Return to your country and to your family, and I will deal well with you’”… – Gen 32:9

Jacob repeated God’s word back to Him. He was facing what seemed like impossible odds: Esau, his older (and stronger) brother, was approaching with an army. Jacob was sure Esau was going to kill him. But God’s promise isn’t canceled by circumstance!

God’s promises are voice activated. When we repeat God’s word back to Him – out loud – He can act on it. No matter what you are facing, declare the word of God. “God, You said…” is the best start you can have to any prayer. You don’t need to say the perfect prayer; just repeat what God already said! Get to know His will through His word, and repeat it back to Him. Not a word will return to Him void. Everything He said will come to pass!

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. – Is 55:11

When you repeat God’s word back to Him and remind Him of what He said, every promise He has spoken will come to pass!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for voice activated faith. Thank You for filling me with Your promises, so I can repeat them back to You! I know that as I do, everything You have for me will unfold.
