Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
…this Ezra came up from Babylon; and he was a skilled scribe in the Law of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had given. The king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the Lord his God upon him. – Ezra 7:6

What made Ezra so special? What was it about this man that gave him such incredible favor that the king of a foreign nation “granted him all his request?” He brought the Word. He was a “skilled scribe in the Law of Moses;” and because he was filled with God’s Word, he was covered by the hand of God.

When you get full of God’s Word, you will experience the feel of God’s hand! The more you know His Word, the more His hand will be on your life. Everything you need is found in God’s Word! You don’t have a money problem; you have a Word problem. You don’t have a relationship problem; you have a Word problem! Get full of His Word, and God will do the rest.

Prayer:

Father, fill me up with Your word. I want to get so full of Your Word that I am overflowing! I know the more I love Your Word, the more I will feel Your hand on my life, in Jesus’ name.
