Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

For thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream.” – Is 66:12

God provides peace like a river and glory like a stream. Rivers and streams are in constant motion; and if they come from the right source, they never dry up! The peace and glory God provides never cease. No matter what twists and turns life takes, God’s peace and His glory keep on coming.

That means we never have to worry about using up His goodness. Heaven has an unlimited supply of everything we need and all we desire. That also means we never have to fear that if we pour out into others, God won’t pour back into us! The best way to receive an endless supply of God’s peace and glory is to pour into others whenever we can. If you keep pouring out, God will keep pouring in!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your endless supply of glory and peace. I know Your love is unlimited, and the resources of Heaven never cease! Thank You for Your endless provision, in Jesus’ name.
