Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“Hear the word of the Lord, O kings of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem. Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Behold, I will bring such a catastrophe on this place, that whoever hears of it, his ears will tingle.’” – Jer 19:3

The reason God shares oncoming tragedy with us is so we can change our hearts. Jeremiah promised “such catastrophe…that whoever hears of it, his ears will tingle.” Yet this was not God sharing inevitable fate with His people. It was God inviting His people to change the posture of their hearts.

If you change your heart, you will change your future. You will come into alignment with the perfect plan God has had for you all along! You will come under the umbrella of God’s blessing and protection: which, by the way, is where God designed for you to be!

Change your heart. Return to God! You can have a perfect future, face to face with your Father.

“Thus the Lord God showed me: Behold, the Lord God called for conflict by fire, and it consumed the great deep and devoured the territory. Then I said: ‘O Lord God, cease, I pray! Oh, that Jacob may stand, for he is small!’ So the Lord relented concerning this.

‘This also shall not be,’ said the Lord God.” – Amos 7:4-6

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Divine warnings. Thank You for reminding me to align my heart with Yours! I am so grateful for the way You speak peace and purpose over my life, in Jesus’ name!
