Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
For the Lord has chosen Zion;
He has desired it for His dwelling place:
“This is My resting place forever;
Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.
 I will abundantly bless her provision;
I will satisfy her poor with bread.
I will also clothe her priests with salvation,
And her saints shall shout aloud for joy.” – Ps 132:13-16

Where God dwells (v 13), His glory follows. These are the marks of God’s presence: abundant provision (v 15), relief from poverty (v 15), salvation (v 16), and supernatural joy (v 16)! Does your church look like this? Does your city look like this? If not, we have work to do!!

When God is in a place, there will be evidence that He is there! The atmosphere will change. The people will be blessed. Where His presence rests, His favor follows! Oh, that we – the church – would cherish God’s presence like never before, and receive all the benefits that come with His presence!

Prayer:

Father, help me to cherish Your presence. I want to experience Your presence: every day of my life, for the rest of my life, in Jesus’ name!
