Commentary from Pastor Mike White:
“For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life.” – Ps 30:5
God’s anger is finite. With one death on the Cross, all God’s wrath was poured out. His Only Son hung and died in our place, and there is no more wrath to expend.
Yet God’s love is infinite. He loves us more than we can ever imagine: so much that He sent His Only Son to die so that we might enjoy eternity in Heaven with Him!
God’s favor is for life. God’s love is forever. Hallelujah!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your infinite love! I know I could never earn it or deserve it; but You shower it on me all the same.
