Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice. – Ps 55:16-17
When David called upon God, the Lord saved him. When David cried aloud to God, the Lord heard his voice! Whenever you use your voice, God responds. Just because you don’t see His response doesn’t mean He doesn’t care! Just because you don’t hear His response doesn’t mean He’s not there!
If God was so willing to save you, shouldn’t it go without saying that He is willing to hear you? God hears your prayers. Pray with confidence, knowing that He is always there!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for always hearing me! Help me to have faith that even if I don’t see or hear You, You are always there. Thank You for listening and responding, in Jesus’ name.
