Commentary from Pastor Mike White:
“But on this one will I look: On him who…trembles at My word.” – Is 66:2
Do you want to get God’s attention? Stay humble, and tremble at His word. We will never graduate from reading Scripture because we can never know more than God. We will never be so blessed that we can give up prayer, because without it we cannot know God’s heart. We will never be exalted when we are prideful, because humility is what God needs to raise us up.
God looks on you when you live your life fully devoted to Him. And when He sees you, He sees His Only Son Jesus Christ: sinless, spotless, and righteous for all eternity!
Prayer:
Father, I want to tremble at Your word! When I read Scripture, I pray that it would have an eternal impact on me. I give You permission to change my life: to make me a man (woman) after Your own heart!
