For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him… – Col. 2:9-10a
In Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Jesus is the bodily representation of the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. In Jesus is “all the fullness” of God! So if you want to get to God, come to Jesus.
It is simply not true that there are many ways to Heaven.
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it”. – Matt. 7:13-14
You cannot believe whatever you want and arrive at the heavenly gates. Jesus is God. Following a prophet or a leader will not get you to God! But following Jesus will.
Keep it simple. Give Jesus everything you have: all your attention, all your worship and all your focus! And you will find yourself closer to God than you have ever been.
Prayer:
Jesus, I am laying my life at Your feet today! I know that the fullness of God dwells in You. I want to dwell in You too, so I can live my life in the fullness! Thank You, Jesus, for making me complete.
