Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter” (Prov 25:2). God, in His infinite wisdom, has concealed things from us. Yet He did not conceal them to confuse us; but rather so that as we search them out and find them, we would glorify Him even more! The greatest joy in all of life is to seek God. God is infinite, and there is more of Him than any man can ever know. It is our glory to search out every word His prophets have recorded, and to catch one more glimpse of Him in His presence! Seek God and you will find Him!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for making Yourself available to me. I receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. That action puts me in a position Old Testament prophets could only have dreamed of. Thank You!
