Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“…because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth…” (2 Thessalonians 2:13). Salvation is a miracle! We ask God for signs, miracles and wonders to confirm His existence all the time; yet isn’t your salvation a miracle in and of itself? God calls you His precious child: even though you’re imperfect, and even though you don’t deserve it. You could never earn your own salvation, but Jesus Christ has earned it on your behalf! God’s Holy Spirit living inside of you is evidence of God’s miracle-working power.
If you’re feeling discouraged today, consider this: you’re here for a reason, and your life has a purpose. God chose you for salvation; all that’s left for you to do is simply accept His choice.

Father, thank You for choosing me. I know I am destined for greatness on this earth and glory in Heaven. Thank You Lord!
