Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’ He who hears, let him hear; and he who refuses, let him refuse; for they are a rebellious house. – Ezek 3:27
Your job isn’t to save the whole world. Jesus already saved the world! Your job is simply to open your mouth and share the gospel.
When you share the Good News of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, some will respond, and some will refuse. What they choose is not up to you; it is up to them. But the lost cannot respond to a message they never hear! You have to share the Gospel before they can accept it!
Be encouraged. If you believe in Jesus, your salvation is secure. There is nothing you can do to make God love you more; and there is nothing you can do to make Him love you less! It is now your privilege to share that Good News with everyone you encounter.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for the Cross. Help me to be bold in sharing my faith. I want to scream it out from the mountaintops, in Jesus’ name!
