Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! – Ps 47:6
“Sing praises” is repeated thirty seven times in the Psalms. In other words, singing praises is important!
Praising God should not simply be an activity; it should be our way of life. We must learn the importance of singing praises to God. He inhabits our praises (Ps 22:3); as we lift Him up, He is released to carry us higher!
Do not let the enemy steal your desire to praise God. Praise Him when you wake up. Praise Him as you fall asleep. And praise Him every waking moment in between!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for the privilege of praising You! I want to praise You with every breath. As long as I’m alive and breathing, I will be praising!
