Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it. – Num 14:24
Boldness brings inheritance. Caleb refused to doubt God’s promise. He declined to fear in the face of adversity. When everyone else ran from the fight, he ran to it. His reward was God’s promise!
Caleb and Joshua were the only ones willing to follow God “fully” (v 24). Consequently, they were the only ones who received the reward. Boldly accept the things God has called you to do. Step out in faith, knowing God has already placed your foot on the enemy’s neck. Satan cannot hold back anything God has promised; so you have nothing to fear.
Prayer:
Father, help me to follow You fully! I want to inherit everything You have promised me – nothing more, and nothing less. Give me the boldness to step out in faith!
