Nevertheless the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam, but the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you. – Deut 23:5
Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Prov 18:21). Does that mean someone else has the power to curse you? Can someone else speak negative words over your life that are so powerful that they can throw your destiny off track?
I think not! Foreign nations hired Balaam to curse Israel; but look what God did! Not only would He, “…not listen to Balaam, but the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you!!”
God loves you. He will turn every curse into a blessing. So when other people say not-so-nice things, you don’t have to worry! God will turn their negative words into positive results, simply because He loves you.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for protecting me! Thank You for turning every curse anyone has ever spoken over me into a blessing. I know You love me; and I love You, with all of my heart, forevermore.
