Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you. – Deut 30:4

There is no such thing as being too far gone. God promised His people that no matter how far they had been scattered, He would gather them home. His will has not changed. No matter where you are, or what you’ve done, God will bring you back. There is forgiveness at the foot of the Cross!

There is no sin so great that it can overshadow the finished work of the Cross. Jesus died so that you can have eternal life. Turn to God, and He will rescue you from the captivity of a life without love and purpose. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for never giving up on me! You are a good, good Father: far better than I deserve. Thank You that no matter how far gone I am, you still call me home.
