CityLight Pastor Commentary:
“The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Ps 118:6) Jesus has risen from the grave! Death has been defeated! When you rely on Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the only obstacle of eternal consequence that faces all of us at the end of our lives has been adequately dealt with – by God, on our behalf! You’re heaven bound! When God is on our side, what else do we have left to fear?
Prayer:
Father, thank You that Your Son Jesus Christ has beaten death so that we never have to fear it! Help me to live in light of that amazing and immense freedom that I have been given – free of charge!
