Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased. – Jn 6:2
Healing is one of the greatest witnesses we have. God is Jehovah Rapha, our healer (Ex 15:26). Healing is who He is, not just something He does. God’s desire is to heal all His children, all the time. Jesus already carried our sickness and disease on the Cross (Is 53:4); it is Satan, not God, who wants us to be sick.
When we demonstrate Jesus’ miracle-working power, multitudes will leave everything to follow Him. As we heal the sick, we make Him famous. Instead of working to convince people that Jesus is real with words, allow Him to demonstrate His power in action. Heal the sick in Jesus’ name!
Prayer:
Father, give me boldness and confidence to pray for the sick. As I pray in Jesus’ name, I know they will recover!
