Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and also took Titus with me. – Gal 2:1
Fourteen years. That is a long missions trip! Yet Paul was willing to go wherever God called him, for as long as necessary. Paul was not a man who passed through a place, preached a word in a church, and then never talked to those people again. He was a man who invested in the places he shared the Gospel. He went where God called him to go, and He stayed where God called him to stay!
When God calls you to go, will you go? When God tells you to stay, will you stay? Whenever you visit a new church or meet new people, never be afraid to invest. Relationship is a powerful tool. God will open the door for you to preach the gospel to people who have never heard of Jesus; but as He does, you have to step through!
Prayer:
Father, make me like the Apostle Paul. I want to invest in other people! I trust that as I sow seed, You will cause it to multiply and grow, in Jesus’ name!
