Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“Thus speaks the Lord God of Israel, saying: ‘Write in a book for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you’” (Jer 30:2). God commanded Jeremiah to write down everything He said; and Jeremiah did. Because of his obedience, we have a phenomenal written account of God’s promises to His people through the prophet Jeremiah. So what is God speaking to you? Write it down! Years down the road, you may need to remind yourself of His promises for you!
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your perfect promises. Help me to write them down, and to remember everything You have spoken to me at all costs. I want to live on Your Word!
