Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“Thus says the Lord…‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know’” (Jer 33:2-3). God wants to make you smarter through prayer. He promises us that when we call to Him, 1) He will answer and 2) He will show us incredible things we could never know on our own. Is your prayer life more than just making requests to God? Do you enjoy time alone with your Father just to relax and let Him explain things to you? When you call to Him, He will answer with reasoning and justification for things you could never understand without His help. He will show you great and mighty things!
Prayer:
Father, I take pleasure in calling to You in prayer! I know that when I call, You answer. You want to show me great and mighty things. You want to make me smarter and keep me informed! Help me to open my eyes and listen to everything You want to tell me!
