Commentary from Pastor Michael White:

Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Although I have cast them far off among the Gentiles, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet I shall be a little sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.”’- Ezek 11:16

God promised His people that no matter how far they were scattered, He would always be there. No matter where they were, He would be a “little sanctuary” for them: a place where they could always find comfort and rest.

God is your sanctuary! Peace is not dependent on your physical location; it is dependent on your belief in God. Even if you feel trapped and stuck – detained from your destiny because of circumstances beyond your control – God is your sanctuary.

Turn to Him! No matter what, He is there.

…and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. – Phil 4:7

Prayer:

Father, thank You for Your perfect peace! Thank You for being my Sanctuary. No matter where I go, and what I do, I can turn to you!
