Commentary from Pastor Michael White:
“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever” (Ps 125:1). God does not change. His attributes are constant; He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb 13:8). Trust is, “Firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.” When we trust in God, we become like Him. When we trust in His stability, He makes us steadfast! If you want to be immovable, fall on the Rock.
Prayer:
Father, thank You that You are so faithful! You never change. Despite my faults and inconsistencies, I can always rely on You: a good God who stays the same!
