Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. – Jude 2
Jude’s prayer for the early church was a prayer of multiplication. He asked God to multiply mercy over His people. Mercy happens when God keeps your past from haunting you in the present. He asked God to multiply peace over His people! Peace happens when you have an Anchor in every storm. He asked God to multiply love over His people. Love happens when you know that God sent Jesus to die in your place on His Cross, so that by receiving His infinite love you can have what you need to go out and love on others.
God is a God of multiplication. “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow to it” (Prov. 10:22)! God doesn’t just want you keeping your head above water, struggling to survive! He wants you to experience real-time multiplication of His blessings in your life on a daily basis.
You serve a God who multiplies. Do you believe it? When He asks you to position yourself for multiplication, will you do what He says?
And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. – Luke 5:6
Prayer:
Father, thank You for multiplying the blessings in my life! I know You want to bless me so I can go out and bless others. I pray that mercy, peace, and love would be multiplied in my life, in Jesus’ name!
